A Professional Service Provider (PSP) is an expert educator who has been vetted by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas Center for District and School Support (TCDSS) to work with underperforming schools and districts identified as Improvement Required in the state intervention system. A PSP provides on-site technical assistance and support to build the capacity of campus leaders, teachers and school staff to understand the Texas Accountability Intervention System (TAIS). PSPs also work with schools receiving a Texas Title I Priority Schools (TTIPS) grant.
